A Reiki practitioner is someone who should have qualified to at least Level 2 (Okuden) degree and hold public liability insurance.
I currently hold Level 1 (Shoden) and Level 2 (Okuden) Degrees in Usui Reiki Ryoho, am a member of the UK Reiki Federation and The Shibumi International Reiki Association and hold Public Liability Insurance.
My particular area of interest is helping clients who are experiencing stress, anxiety and depression as I believe that Reiki can be of particular benefit alongside conventional " talking theraphies" in helping individuals to bring more balance into their lives and increase self esteem, motivation and confidence to bring about healing of mind, body and soul.
One of the most important elements of healing is the ability to accept oneself as we really are. This means looking inside and finding out who we are at the core of our being. Accepting all of the imperfections about ourselves that we reject and project out onto others. Only once we can recognise and claim back our projections, and accept ourselves for who we really are, good and bad, can we become a whole, integrated being. Reiki can be a useful aid in supporting this process.
My Reiki journey officially began in November 2009, when I commenced my training under the guidance of my teacher Allison Brice, founder of The London School of Usui Reiki Ryoho.
